Benign Lesion Removal
Laser Benign Lesion Removal
Benign lesion removal at Elevate Aesthetics uses the Fotona Dynamis laser to address skin growths that are confirmed not to be a medical concern but are visually or physically bothersome. These can include skin tags, certain moles, age spots, seborrheic keratoses, and similar growths that may catch on clothing, look out of place, or simply feel like something you would rather be without.
The Fotona laser allows for precise removal with less risk of scarring than scalpel based methods. Sessions are performed comfortably in our Lenexa office and typically involve very little downtime. Before any treatment, our team will carefully assess the lesion and recommend further evaluation if it does not look clearly benign.
What Kinds of Lesions Can Be Removed
This service is ideal for clients dealing with skin growths that are clearly benign but visually noticeable or physically uncomfortable. Many of our clients come in to remove a single lesion, while others address several in one or two visits.
If a lesion appears suspicious in any way, we will pause and recommend evaluation by a dermatologist or physician before proceeding. Your overall skin health comes first, and aesthetic removal is appropriate only after a benign diagnosis.

Why our laser lesion removal services are a popular alternative to scalpel based methods.

How many sessions are needed to remove a lesion?
Most small lesions can be removed in a single session, while larger or more complex lesions may take two to three visits. Your provider will give you a clear expectation during the initial assessment.
Is the treatment painful?
Discomfort is minimal. We can apply a topical numbing cream for sensitive areas. Most clients describe a brief snapping or warm sensation during the treatment.
What does healing look like?
You may have a small scab or crust at the treatment site that heals over a week or two. We will walk you through aftercare so the area heals cleanly with minimal scarring risk.
How do you know a lesion is benign?
Before treating any lesion, we will visually assess the area. If we suspect a lesion is not benign, we will refer you to a dermatologist or physician for proper evaluation before pursuing aesthetic removal.

At Elevate Aesthetics, we blend advanced medical aesthetics with whole-body wellness — from IV therapy and peptide protocols to expert injectables and laser care.
